I recently started developing an application with Node JS, first I started with Visual Studio and the view engine Jade, and it seemed to work fine, but then I noticed some limitations with Jade that I personally don't like at all(for ex a space can damage the whole html). I like having more control on how the output html is going to be, so I decided to use Vash view engine, the problem is that visual studio and other IDE's don't recognize it, so I don't have any good features that I can use to make my life simpler, so now I'm wasting time worrying about things that are a lot simpler with Razor or PHP.

Do you have any recommendation or should I go back with old good razor mvc sites?
