I can't find a way to make the <div class="jumbotron"> work full width, I've tried:

  • put <div class="container"> inside jumbotron div class
  • put <div class="container-fluid"> inside jumbotron div class
  • put !important on the jumbotron class
  • put 100% width in the jumbotron class

Note that I can't put the <div class="jumbotron"> before <asp:Content>, it throws an exception: "Only Content controls are allowed directly in a content page that contains Content controls." because I am using a MasterPage with the navbar

This is the code, I need the <asp:Content> because I'm using ASP.Net and a MasterPage with the navbar, with a logo on it.

 <asp:Content ID="BodyContent" ContentPlaceHolderID="MainContent" runat="server">

   <div class="jumbotron">
   <div class="container">

Image1 shows the output of my project and Image2 how I want it to be (just the container with the big text, the navbar is good).
